Shadow x reader: How I feel about you...

Seeing a new world!

        You wake up,feeling a little hazy.You look down to see Shadow's arm was gone.You sit up and look to the side of you to see the sleeping bag empty.He was gone."Shadow?"You ask.There was no answer.You stand up slowly,uncovering yourself.You yell his name."Shadow!"There was still no answer.You pick up the sleeping bags and stuff them into your bag.You then put your backpack on your back.You slowly walk towards the wooded area of the forest."Where are you Shadow?"You ask to yourself.
"Did he leave me here?"You began to feel distraught as more sad thoughts came to mind.Then you hear a rustle coming from one of the bushes in front of the trees.You moved your hand in your coat to find a dagger.
You walked slowly toward the rustling bushes,nervous.The bushes parted to reveal Shadow."Well I see your awake."Then he looks down at the dagger in your hand.He smiles."Do you really think a tiny dagger like that was going to save you?"You look at him,still surprised that it was him making the noise.You smile."This dagger has actually helped me in really tough situations.I got it from my dad!"You look down,lost in thought."My dad..."You whisper.Shadow stops smiling."What's wrong?You realise that you were frowning and looked up quickly,pretending to be happy."Its nothing!"Shadow walks toward you,with concern,but thinks better of it."We better get moving."Shadow says.
        "Are we almost there?!"You ask Shadow panting.Shadow stops and says"See for yourself."You move up ahead in front of a clump of trees,and ran between them."Whoa!"You say.In front of you,you see a very bright lit city.Since it was now the late evening,you could see the car lights flashing down below.For a second,you see a blue flash dashing between the cars."That's Sonic.You will be meeting him soon."You jumped at the sound of Shadow's calm voice.He keeps walking down the hill."Are you coming,or have you changed your mind."You look back to the trees,then to the town below.You follow Shadow down the hill."Of course I want to come!"Shadow nods as you both head down to the populated city.
        "This place is crowded!"You shout.You were both in the town now,walking on the side walk.You couldn't help but walk closely to Shadow each time a person walked by.The person wouldn't even look at you at time but you still felt nervous.Shadow wouldn't say anything,and didn't seem to mind."I thought you would be used to this."You look at him."The town was alot smaller then here,and less crowded."Shadow nods in understanding."Where are we going?"You ask.You both stop in front of an apartment building."You can spend the night with me.I live here."Shadow opens the door for you,and you walk in to see the inside of the apartments.The walls were light shade of yellow,and pictures of landscapes hung on the nails of the walls.Shadow stops in front of a white door,and opens it slowly.Before you walk in,he holds out his hand stopping you.You look in confusion at him,as he looks around in the darkness.He then nods and opens the door."What was that all about?"You ask.Shadow turns the light on."If someone is after me,I have to be more careful.You never can be too careful."
          Later,you were in the bedroom with Shadow."Sorry about having only one bed."Shadow says."I'm used to living alone."You smile."Thats okay! I can sleep in the chair in here.You gesture to the red velvet chair beside you.Shadow shakes his head."No.You can have the bed.I'll sleep in the chair."You were about to argue,but the stern look on his face told you that was his final decision.So you put your bag down beside the bed,and layed down in it.Shadow was setting the chair up that was in front of the bed.You covered yourself with a white sheet and blanket.Once you were situated,Shadow turned the light off,as you began to fall asleep.
          You woke up gasping from having one of the worst nightmares you could ever have.Shadow lifts his head,wide awake.He looked concerned."What's wrong?"Shadow asked in a serious tone.You look at him,trying to hide your fear."It was nothing."Shadow stood up from the chair."It didn't sound like nothing."He sat down beside you on the bed.You sigh."It was about my mom and dad.They both died from a disease when I was younger.I can't even remember what it was.I dreamed that they died all over again,they died when I was six.So I stayed with my grandma,until I moved out about a year ago."Shadow looks back down saying"Its alright.These sort of things happen."You still couldn't help but feel sad,and Shadow notices.He covers himself with the blanket,still sitting up.He wraps his arms around you and pulls you into his chest.Shadow then says"I'll wait here to you fall back asleep then."You didn't say anything as you snuggle closer to him.He covers you with the blanket.You hear Shadow's breathing until you fall asleep.
