Snap

Drarry fic inspired by a Tumblr post. I wrote this randomly, fueled by mountain dew, gay determination, and a snap.

Oh, that's an Oof

As soon as Potions class came to an end, "Draco, see me after class."
And so here he was, standing in front of Snape, eyebrows lifted, hair blue, arms crossed, looking for all the world like a Bad Boy pulled straight out of a movie and then turned bisexual.
Snape's look could've killed him. It's just that Draco didn't care.
"You were warned," Snape said.
Draco shrugged, his eyes flashing - with triumph, or anger, or recklessness, he couldn't say. "I know."
There was a long pause, as there always seemed to be when one was talking with Snape. "You know what the consequence for insubordination is."
Draco just nodded. He tried not to look intimidated, but he couldn't help the swallow of fear.
"And you know that you are no longer under my protection."
Draco nodded again.
Snape paused, studying the boy. The empty silence seemed to stretch out for years.
"Very well," he said brusquely. "You may go."
And go he damn well did.
