CHaptter 12

        “My feet are killing me.” complained Kai.
        “Pff,” dismissed Eaden, “Feet are overrated. Why don’t you just constantly use some hover spell or something?’
        Iobar rolled his eyes, “Idiots. That would completely rob me of my Mana.” He looked over to Killian. “Magic energy.” he explained.
        “Right,” said the young Aeturnus, “Nothing makes sense, I forgot. So, how are you doing this?”
        They were running along the rooftops, trying to get out of monster’s reach for awhile now, and he was getting tired, but he seemed to be the only one.
        “I’m using a stamina spell.”
        “Right. Obviously.”
        They continued over the rooftops, until they saw what they were looking for.
        “Is this it?” asked Kai, looking below them.
        “Yup,” said Eaden, “Safehouse three.”
        “Let’s go,” said Aeden, hovering down.
        Iobar used a hover spell to bring him and his earthbound guest to the door. When they turned the knob, they expected the warehouse to be empty.
        It wasn’t.
        “Well hello there, so nice to meet you again, little deity.” said the embodiment of rage, with a voice as smooth as silk.
