Hope Remains

Katie went right in. Dashing forward she raised her great sword a little. A minotor bashed a mash it was holding to the ground, roared and charged her. She smiled, sliding as they came close to one another. She twisted, dragging her blade along the floor. She spun fully around and sent it up, cutting the minotor in half. The minotors health bar dropped completely and it split in half, it exploded into little shards and vanished. Two more rushed her. She smiled raising her sword over and onto her shoulder. Meanwhile Josh was walking up to another 4 by himself, his hand in his pocket the other on his glowing sword. "JOSH WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Takamina yelled from afar. Josh ignored her and kept walking. Two minotors rushed him, one with two axes and another with a battle axe. The one with two axes raised them, Josh stopped but remained looking forward. The second the minotor sent his axes down a large glowing blue sword appeared sideways and blocked the incoming axes. The second minotor came running in, bring his axe down. Josh spun to the left avoiding the Axe. He dashed towards the second minotor, slashing it multiple times, then did the same to the next. Both the minotors explored into shards.

"Did you even see him move?" Keda asked.
"No what the Hell?" Jackie added. "I know he's level 15 but come on"
"That's crazy" Takamina said. Keda heard a little girl scream. A little girl, by the user name of "Fudari" was looking up at a minotor was a large Great sword. Keda looked over at Josh and Katie. Katie was currently blocking two minotors with a battle axe and great sword with her great sword. And Josh was dodging and block hits from a couple more minotors with a hand axe and a  long sword. These 4 were higher levels than the rest. Keda took action and ran over the minotor, unsheathing his long sword from his back. The minotor raised his sword. Keda came in, he jumped up slashing the chest of the minotor as he got to him. He landed in front of the girl. The minotors health barely dropped. It looked like a laughed a little. But as it did a large fire ball and few arrows hit the side of it. Jackie stood there on the right bow raised and so did Takamina with a small flame in her hand. The minotor let out a roar and rushed them. Takamina threw another fireball but it didn't even flinch. That was until...

The second it reached them it was hit by a large bit of ruble which had come flying in. It had a red glow around it. The minotor was in the floor. The piece of ruble went up and came crashing down on the minotor. It just remained there. Jackie looked around and up. A girl by the user "Kameo Rose" she was level 13 and was flying in the sky with a red glow around her. "Hey Thanks!" Jackie yelled up.
"Yeah...Thank me a second" She looked at the other two minotors making their way over. Both with large maces. Kameo put her hands out, her eyes shinning red. The maces the minotors were carrying started lifting up. The minotors looked up at them as they raised, they started spinning. Finally they came down spinning, smacking them both right in the face. They fell over and exploded into shards. As did the maces. "Pft, easy..."
Keda felt a tug on his shirt. "Excuse me..." Fudari said.
"Yes?" Keda turned and kneeled down.
"Thank you!" The little girl said.

Josh was fighting off two of the last two minotors and Katie the other two. They were quite close. "Now Katie!" Josh yelled. Katie jumped away as did Josh. The minotors grouped up. Josh took his left hand out his pocket and his sword faded away. Josh's eyes started glowing blue and a wind blew his V-Split in his overcoat upwards. He started hovering higher and higher. He put his arms out either side of him, with this multiple swords started appearing around him. It got to about 20. He smiled and pushed his arms forward. This sent the swords down, not hitting but surrounding the minotors so they couldn't escape. Now Katie started running, her sword started to fire up. She jumped into the air. Over the swords and just above the minotors. She pointed her sowed down and came down. The sword stabbed into the ground creating a fiery explosion all around her. The minotor roared and exploded into shards. The fire cleared and Katie stood up and put her great sword on her back. She sighed and looked at Josh as he came down to land, his mana bar was half gone but regenerating. He gave her a thumbs up and she looked over the the others. They smiled and walked over. As did Josh. "And that laddies and gents. Is the dream team"
"Yeah well you missed three of them" Keda laughed. The little girl close behind him.
"And they are where?" Katie asked.
"Dead" Takamina told her.
"Then stop worrying" Katie said.
"Also Josh you were so over confident" Jackie added.
"Your Point?" Josh tilted his head.
"So I assume you two love birds played the beta?" Kameo had wondered over.
"She's not...We're not dating and F-Y-I I...I played the Alpha" Josh bowed.  
Katie punched him in the arm. "I did yes"
"Hmmm cute. Nice to know some people know what they're doing" Kameo said.
"Are you saying we don't?" Jackie looked at her.
Keda pulled her away and started walking away. "Leave it out Jackie"
"I'm hungry" Fudari told Keda. Takamina shrugged and followed them.
"Guess we're leaving" Katie grabbed Josh by the arm pulled him along. "Thank you for your help Ummm?"
"My real name is Kayla" Kames told her.
"I'm Katie and this is Josh" Katie said walking away. "I'm sure we'll cross paths again"
