Sea Horse

On the beach

As they walked along the track, Sofie looked down across the fence on the edge out to the sea at night it was beautiful to look at at that time of day.
"Come on I need to feel some speed or we'll never get there!"said Katie tapping her heels on Rosie's sides putting her into a fast trot while yeloing, "Come on guys I need speed let's canter the rest of the way till we get to that gate!"
As Ellen and sofie pushed their horses into a trot then canter they watched Katie Canter up to the gate but rather than slowing down to open and walk through it she tapped Rosie's sides with her heels again and went up into two-point position as Rosie jumped over the gate.
"My turn!" Called Sofie as she cantered up on Toffee and jumped over the gate. Ellen however ever the sensible one slowed down trotted up to the gate stopped opened it and Walked through.
"Spoil sport!" shouted Katie, "We'll just leave you behind bet you can catch us!" Laughed Katie as she cantered of closely followed by Sofie cantering down the pathway. Suddenly to Sofie's suprise Katie tapped her heels against Rosie's sides again pushing her into a gallop.
"Katie, don't you think we should slow down and wait for Ellen?" asked Sofie anxiously.
"Oh fine I think Rosie needs to walk now anyway lets go back and find her!"  replied Katie
As they road back they saw Ellen standing next to Lightning looking worried.
"What happened?" asked Sofie.
"I think he's gone lame!" replied Ellen.
