Escape part 2
The drone took a direct hit to its thermal scanner, slowly started listing to the right, then fell to the ground while leaving a trail of dark grey smoke. The Shadow Hunter was already on the move, cutting a trail through the dense jungle in the opposite direction. Without somewhere to hide, the GW would spot his large armored suit easily; he wanted that hiding place to be far from the crashed drone, which would draw the surrounding patrol's attention. The Shadow Hunter charged ahead, pumping his heavy boots and vaulting over fallen trees. This was it: after crashing through some more vines, he stumbled into a small clearing. In the dirt ground was an almost unnoticeable latch, brown from rust and covered somewhat with a handful of leaves. He wasted no time. With one sweep of his arm he cleared off the leaves, then firmly grabbed the latch and pulled on it with all of his weight; after a second, the latch gave and opened up to reveal a narrow shaft with a ladder on one side. Without giving the area a second glance, the Shadow Hunter dived feet-first into the shaft, pulling the cover closed behind him. It was time to return to Caban, the Anarchist Cavern City.

It's reader-influenced, meaning you can vote on how the plot goes, and it also affects this story, the Shadow Hunter
Rise of Fluffy is much more humor-infused, so it's a lighter feeling story than this one :D
