The memory

"We're on the highway to hell!" we all sing

Then it happened, the head lights blinding me, the sound of horns blaring,the swerving of the car into the forest, the car spinning, the screaming.and then...
five min later my eyes open to a blurry scene to find my brother and dad tugging and pulling at their seat belt

"Hurry so you can help your sister out of her seat belt" I hear dad say

"I'm trying dad, it won't give."

"Keep trying, you have to hurry."

"what-"I look around "what is going...what is going on?"

"Good she is awake...sweetie look I need you to pay attention." dad says

"Dad?" i ask

"Yes, now goddess I'm going to need you to try to get out of your seat belt"

"what the" i say

"what Goddess?" Xavier asks while still working on the belt

I feel the top of my head and, when I bring my hand back down...

"Blood...it's BLOOD!" and then I look up to see my mothers lifeless, head through the window, arm twisted up along with one of her legs with just a lot of blood all over the front window seal."AHHH MOM!" I scream

"Goddess..Goddess..listen to me...i need you to try to get your belt lose, you and Xavier have to go."

I start to breath heavily

"What...wh...what about you." i ask

He sighs "I can't get out, plus im in no condition-"

"What do you mean your in no condition!" I say becoming enraged

"Goddess..I can't feel my legs and I'm losing way to much blood."

Then there is a thud sound and i look over to find Xavier free and making his way over to me and tugging and pulling at my belt

"Goddess you have to go" dad says

"NO! Xavier say something to him, side with me we can't lose dad!" I yell

He continues what he was doing and ignore's me

"Xavier!" I yell

"Goddess, there's  nothing...we  can do." he sighs

I shake my head "NO! NO! you can't give up you-" I fall into Xavier arms as i'm released from the belt, then a wave of what smells of gas passes over me

"This gar is going to blow, you two have to get out quickly!" dad says and Xavier nods

Xavier shoves me to get me out but before he could come out...

"Take care of your sister, do right." dad says grabbing Xavier arm trying to fight back tears and Xavier trying not to cry himself

"I will..b..b...bye dad" He quickly pulls away and gets out to find me looking at the 15 people around us

"How can you people just stand their!" I yell

Then five rush over to help me and Xavier, while the rest talked on their phones, calling for help.Then i'm suddenly picked up and being carried away as the car's bottom starts to go up in flames.I fight the person of and run back towards the car

"GODDESS! STOP!" Xavier yells

I turn back to find Xavier limping but holding on to two people, face down, but I could tell tears were coming down his eyes

"GODDESS!" he yells again

But I ignor him and make my way to the car door pulling at it

"Don't worry I'm going to get you out." I say now feeling tears run down my cheeks

"Goddess move away from the car, you can't...help me." dad says

"I can...I can!" i yell

Then i feel two people tugging and pulling at me telling me to move away and get back and then it was like everything slowed down as I was being pulled back.I looked into my fathers eye and seen a sympathetic look

"I'm sorry" he mouthed to me before reaching over to pull out his gun, putting the trigger in his mouth and then...he was dead just...like...that.

"NOOO!" I yell trying to fight and get free

By then the car burst into flames, then soon so did the tress, spreading from tree top to the grass,everybody was running and screaming, and all i could do was stay paralyzed while being pulled away

Why did he give up?
