Late Night Training
I can't help but worry for the rest of the night. Where could Ibalize be at? What is he planning? I have to find him, and finish him off.But first I need to make sure I'm strong enough to.
I knock on the bare wall in my living room 3 times in a rhythm. A new door reveals itself, as I open it.
You think it's creepy, right? Think again. I had it installed myself.
It's my own training facility to improve my powers.
I grab a staff from the rack and press the green button, then walk to the centre. The room lighting fades.
I see a virtual image of a Voider running towards me and hurl a Lightning Bolt at it. Another two from behind try to hurl me down, but I slam my staff down, and a wall of water separates me from them. I then flick my wrist and a meteor slams down onto them.
Well, I've gotten better.
It continues this way until the last Voider runs up to me. I carefully place the top of my staff on the ground, and it releases a different type of Lightning Bolt. One that can enter the target's body from the ground and electrocute the target from within. The image fades within an instant.
Then I see an image of the Tauran Brothers, Kardan, Karlos, and Karmad. In front of them stands Karnatog, the Tauran leader.
Most of my staff magic is weak against them, so I use my hand magic for this obstacle. I bring my hands together, my palms facing the ground. Slowly I separate them, as a big wave of water appears, and interferes with them. Karnatog hurls a hammer at me and I jump out of the way. While in mid-air, I lunge myself at him and punch him in the eyes.
Smack-down!
But it's not enough.
The Tauran Brothers are still standing. I know one spell from my staff that's effective against them. So I grab for my staff and aim it towards them. The crystal glows a dark mixture of blue and black, and I wave my staff from right to left. They fall weak to the floor, as I hurl 3 separate Lightning Bolts at them. Their images fade.
The lighting returns; I've done all I can for today.
I take it I'm ready to face Ibalize, but I know I can't do it alone. I'm going to need help.
From Balenor's Imperial Temple Army.
I know the perfect way to delay if not prevent Ibalize from reaching Mobius. So I take out my phone and dial the number I need.
"Elise, it's Hayley. I need your help."
