Chapter 5: The Aphrodites

I make my way to the door and open it slowly to see a gang of girly-girls wearing pink, pink, and light red (pink) doing their hair and makeup for what doesn't look for the first time.  They all look at me as I walk in, then decide I don't matter and get back to their stuff.  I throw my bag on the floor by the door but keep my quiver on me.  A girl that looks almost like an exact replica of what Aphrodite must look like walks up to me.  She is at least five inches taller than me and so pretty it hurts my eyes, or maybe that's the fumes from all this hairspray.
     "And what are you doing here?"  She asks.  Ugh; girls.
     " Artemis herself told me to stay here, and unless you want to argue with her, I think I should be here."  I'm in no mood to be nice to this pompom.  All the other pompoms stand and look at us and I get a bad feeling about these girls.  Doesn't Aphrodite have a son that can help, or have all the boys been kicked out of this place by these freaks of nature.
     "Wow, hey girls?"  She says, "I think this is the freak who thinks she's the daughter of Artemis."  And laughs break out in the room.  My cheeks turn red and I scowl at her.
     "Well, I don't care weather you believe me or not because I know it's the truth, and if you don't its your loss.  I say and slam the door behind me as I storm out.  I've learned that the best way to make people unsure is to be sure of yourself.  
     I walk over to find Jay, and that Percy guy; he seems cool.  They're leaning up against the wall of their cabin talking.  When I come near, Percy sees me first.
     "Hey!"  He says, and Jay turns around.  They walk over to me and we spend an hour talking about meaningless stories and random things, and I feel like, somehow, I know both of them better.



THERE WILL BE NO MORE OF THIS STORY POSTED EVER.  IT WAS INACCURATE TO THE BOOKS AND WOULD TAKE TOO MUCH EFFORT TO FIX WHEN I COULD JUST WRITE ANOTHER STORY.  SORRY IF YOU LIKED IT, ITS GONE NOW.
