I gotta give Eggman credit. Looking at Jackie, you'd think she was born a Mobian, or something like that. Guess Egghead did her a favour. I mean, she gets to start a new life, right? That's what she wished for, and she got it.
"Come on, the capsule's not far," I hear her shouting. She really does remember where our little capsule is. And there it is, standing on its edge, right in the middle of the park.
"Little rusty, but it'll be enough," Tails says. He presses a button on the outside and the door opens.
Our one way ticket home.
I turn round to see Jackie behind me, and she's shaking in fear.
"Hey what's up?" I ask her.
"I know I can come with you and all," she replies, "but... what if..."
"You don't fit in? But you will," I assure her. "You'll be fine."
"Come on Jackie, it'll be okay," Sapphire adds. "You're one of us now."
But she's still facing me. I place my hands on her cheeks to tell her it'll be okay.
"Thanks Sonic," she whispers against my neck.
"Don't mention it," I reply. "Now c'mon, before it sets off without us."

The capsule finally lands, and as the door opens, I breathe a sigh of relief.
Home sweet Mobius.
"So this is Mobius," Jackie says. "Pretty sweet home you guys have."
I step out the capsule after her. We've landed right outside our shared home.
The front door opens and someone steps out.
"Hey, what took you so long," she calls out. And I recognise that voice.
Alexis.
"Hey Alexis," Sapphire calls, and runs up to her.
"Sapph, where you been? What happened?"
"We're okay. From what I heard, Manic was being an idiot, they landed in Earth, and look who they met!"
She waves for Jackie to walk forward, and she does. "Hi," she says, rather shyly.
"I'm Alexis. Alexis the Hedge-bat," Alexis replies. "And you are?"
"Jackie. I heard from the boys that I'm quite vital in this world?"
"Oh my God. The great Jackie! You found her Sonic!" Alexis runs - or rather flies - up to me and wraps her arms around my neck.
"Okay, too tight there," I tell her. Her arms feel like they're strangling my neck.
"Oh. Sorry," she replies, letting go. "I just can't believe you found her. The legendary Jackie. The one who's going to save us! Hang on..." She takes a closer look at Jackie. "I thought she was human."
"I was," Jackie replies, "but Eggman kidnapped me and turned me into a hedgehog."
"Like what happened to me and you, Alexis," Sapphire adds. "5 years ago, remember?"
"What happened then?" Jackie asks them.

"Whoa."
Sapphire just finished the story about her and Alexis, and how they got turned into Mobians. Bit similar to Jackie there.
"Yep. That's pretty much the story," Alexis says.
"So we're alike," Jackie replies. "That's amazing."
"Come on, we'll show you your room," Sapphire says, as she takes Jackie's hand. Alexis runs into the house after them and I can't help wanting to smirk. So I cover my mouth.
"What's so funny, Sonic?" Tails asks me.
"Oh, nothing," I reply, still smirking.
"Well, I need to work something out," Tails says. "I think I know a way to reverse Eggman's work on Jackie."
