Choosing A Dress

When I heard Sonia shouting for me to pick any dress I wanted... well... I'll put it this way: I've NEVER been allowed to pick any outfit I want.
I look at Sapphire. "What's Alexis wearing tonight?"
Sapphire just shrugs. "She said she's not showing anyone until the performance."
Bummer.
"Tell you what," Sapphire then adds. "How about you and I go shopping so you can pick a new outfit?"
"I'd love that!" I scream in joy.

We've been shopping for three hours now, but I just haven't found the right dress yet.
"Try this next shop," Sapphire says.
The minute we step in, I am in awe. All the dresses have sequin accessories.
I spot a dark blue dress that is encrested with a golden waist, covered in sequins, and an amazing pattern in icy blue.
"This one," I say. "This one is just perfect."
I try it on in the changing rooms, and when I look in the mirror, I am entranced.
I knew it was perfect for me, and it is.
"Maybe I should curl my hair tonight," I say "instead of straightening it."
"I think you should try that, yeah," Sapphire replies.

We arrive home, and see Sonic, Manic, and Sonia wearing shades.
Damn, they look good! They must be ready to go.
"Looking good," Shadow says.
I smile and say, "Thank you."
We're all in this fancy limousine on our way to the concert, when only one of my favourite songs starts on the radio!
"CASH CASH!!" I shout. "TURN IT UP!!"
Before I now it, we're all singing along to the song, having a laugh.
I can tell this night is going to stay in my mind forever.
Even when I return home, my memories with my newly-found friends will always stay with me.
I know they will.
