Deltora Archives: Volume 1

This is a fun little fan made history book of a book series that I really enjoyed Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda! I still have to read 2 or 3 more books to read from Dragons of Deltora before I have read all (almost) of the Deltora books. Except for one episode, I have watched all of The Deltora Quest anime from and even the adaption series from the Portuguese. This point of view is from an historian named Loran The Explorer (Yes Loran, not Doran)! Note, this is how I imangined the beggining of Deltora started. So, I'll try to keep it as accurate as I can.

Deltora's Formation

It is unknown how Deltora came to be. Some say the dragons of each territory have had wars and broke up masses of land in which came together and formed. Others, still say, it was magic of the seven gems, which I will list for future generations' benifit: Dimond-symbol of purity, Emerald-symbol of honor, Lapis Lazuli-symbol of heavenlyness, Topaz-symbol of faith, Opal-symbol of hope, Amythiest-symbol of being calm.

Though it is not decided, there are many theories. In anycase, there are those who want to be united, which I will tell the story of how we became to be the great nation of Deltora. And just to be safe, I will be sure to make many copies of my books in case some get ruined. For now, I must rest, for my eyes are getting drowsy, and as for my hand, is exhausted. And I will resume my account of this matter later on, starting with the famous story of how Deltora united againts the wretched Shadow Lord.
