Is all lost?

"Oh for God's sake, WHY so many doors, Eggman?"
Eggman's compound was like a maze. A never-ending maze of darkness. And it was successful in confusing Sonic. Round and round he ran, until at last, he found Eggman's laboratory. And what he saw wasn't a very pretty sight.
Lea-Anne was sealed inside a machine. Blue lights shone around her, and there was a mysterious whirring noise. She couldn't see, or hear anything. She didn't even know her brother was standing outside the machine, ready to rescue her.
    "Too late, hedgehog."
Eggman entered the room just then. He held another syringe, for Lea-Anne. "Soon, she won't be your sister anymore."
"What are you doing to Lea," Sonic's voice showed an angry tone, as he glared at Eggman.
    "Oh. Nothing," Eggman replied.
"Nothing?! You call knocking my sister flat out, placing her in one of your stupid machines, and injecting her 'nothing'?! You sick and twisted EGGHEAD!"
But Eggman didn't listen. He flicked a switch, as the machine was activated. It sent a huge surge through the machine Lea-Anne was sealed in. Sonic felt his sister slipping away from him, closer towards Eggman.
Eggman was converting Lea-Anne into his slave!
"No! Let her out of there," Sonic fought all he could against Eggman, knocking him to the floor. He then turned towards the machine that was converting Lea-Anne. "Lea! Lea it's me, Sonic." But he saw Lea-Anne's motionless body. It seemed all was lost. He placed a hand on the side of the machine, still facing Lea-Anne.
"I'm sorry Lea. It's all my fault."

It was my first time writing a story. I didn't know what to do so I made this. And yes, I tried to copy the writing style of the author that wrote Divergent. Guilty!
