No longer alone

No longer alone
At 8:20pm Miranda snuck out of the house and road her bike, without a helmet, to Brandon's. Mind you there wasn't much sneaking she needed to do as she was home alone. The reason she road her bike with out her helmet was half because she couldn't find it easily and half because she thought she might fall off her bike and die. She didn't fall off and die. She didn't even fall off. She road all the way to Brandon's without a hitch. Once she got there she rang the door bell and waited. Suddenly she sat down with her legs crossed on the cold floor. It was as though her mind had returned to that of a child's. All the emotional stress and little sleep was catching up on Miranda. She just needed to let it all out. She heard footsteps coming to the door so she stood up. She had planned to come to Brandon's in her mind but soon realised when he got to the door that she had forgotten to tell him. He was wearing a white top and shorts. He had a look on his face as though he was pleasantly surprised. "Miranda!" he smiled, holding out his arms. She ran forward and collapsed into him. He smelt so good, he smelt safe. He was so warm and comforting. "Come in" he said as he swung the door open and held it open for Miranda. He took her hand and lead her into his house. "Where's your mum?" Miranda asked. "She's at the hospital with her dad. She'll probably be there until the morning because he is really ill." As Brandon said this his voice cracked and it sounded as if he was about to cry. "Are you okay?" Miranda put her arm around Brandon. "Yeah I'm alright. You're the one we really should be talking about."
"Why?" Miranda asked. "Because, well, never mind. Just come here." Brandon held Miranda close. She could feel his heavy warm breathing on her neck. He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He walked with her on his hip to his bed and let go of her. She collapsed on the bed. Brandon lay next to her. "Can I ask you a question?" Brandon said. "Anything" she smiled and looked at him with her shining eyes. "Why did you come here?"
"Because I don't want to be alone anymore."
"Sounds like a good enough reason for me." And with that he lifted her on top of him and started to passionately kiss her neck and then up to her lips. The rest of the night was a blur for both of them.
