Slumber night Mischief

Slumber night Mischief
"Bullseye!" Grace shouted from the bathroom. Miranda knew exactly what Grace was doing or though to the others at the party it was unclear. Last time Grace had come round to her place they had printed out an A4 sized picture of Grace's ex-boyfriend. They'd stuck it up on the bathroom door and thrown darts at it all night. As Grace was once again throwing darts, Miranda was listening to her shouts from the bathroom and reflecting on that night. Grace had broken up with her boyfriend, Kyle, of 4 months just a week earlier. It was Grace's idea to have what they now referred to as an icecream night. This took place every time they were sick of boys and needed a break. Grace had arrived at Miranda's with a tub of icecream, a jar of Nutella, a block of chocolate, and a whole heap of their all time favourite chick flicks. Miranda supplied the tissues and the music.
It had been a great night, however tonight was not an icecream night. It was a celebration slumber party so the girls had invited others too. Jenny and Marcia were curling each others hair with Miranda's new curling iron, Rachel was dancing with Stevie and Sarah, and Livvy was trying to look busy by playing with her hair. Miranda, who was sitting on her bed asked if anyone wanted water. Stevie, who was the typical rebel asked if Miranda had any alcohol, but once Miranda said no she didn't bother her any further.
As Miranda was getting up to get the drinks the doorbell rang and Rachel, who was closest, opened the door. "Miranda?" she said not taking her eyes off the person in the door. It was like she was transfixed, hypnotised on whatever was in the door. "Is Miranda there?" A familiar voice asked. Miranda walked to the door excitedly. It was Brandon and some of his mates. She ran up and hugged him. "Heard there was a party on tonight and that the fairest lady in all the land would be there and I thought I would just have to drop by" he smiled. Miranda, who still had her arms draped around him looked back at Grace. Grace was smiling and when she saw Miranda looking back doubtingly she gave her the thumbs up. That was the signal of approval. "That is if we're not crashing your girls night" Brandon said looking directly into Miranda's eyes and smiling with a humble gaze. His bright green eyes twinkling. "Of course you can come in" laughed Miranda, hugging him again and then leading them in.
With around about 10 boys coming into their quiet and collected girls sleepover, the party soon turned into a loud and messy boy-girl party. Someone turned the music up really loud and people danced on the balcony. Some boys stood around being bored by girl talk whilst others sat on the sofa with girls trying to make a move. With the introduction of boys alcohol was on high demand. Miranda with the help of Grace and Brandon stuck to her original plan and the boys that had bought their own alcohol and cigarettes were asked to leave. Soon there were only a few stragglers left trying to cling onto their party mode. Slow dancing was the new craze on the balcony and a few pairs were making out in the corridor. Brandon and Miranda were outside in the back garden laying in each others arms and staring at the stars. Brandon was stroking Miranda's arm and she was humming a distant song.
