Alexis the Hedgebat

The knucklehead.

I looked up as a red echidna with purple eyes, and a white upside down cresent on his chest was on top of me. I stared at him with a wondering look. "Knuckles get off of her," Sonic said helping the echidna off me. "Hi I'm Alexis the Hedgebat," I said shaking his hand. Knuckles blushed from embarresment and shook my hand. "Knuckles the Echidna," He said. I smiled as Tails came out with a bunch of tools. "Oh hi Knuckles. Have you met Alexis?" Knuckles nodded. "Yeah, he fell on me," I said looking down. Tails stared at Knuckles then went behind me to take off the collar. As Tails tinkered with it I was shocked again but this time more painful. "Oww!" I screamed almost falling on the ground. "Tails what happened?" Silver asked coming out of the house. Tails said nothing as the collar slipped off me. "Thank you Tails!" I said hugging him with joy. I was so happy I was finally free of Eggman. "Alexis we still have your room from two years ago, if you want you can stay here," Tails said. "What room?" Sonic asked. "It's the one we never let you guys in," Silver said. I nodded and handed Silver a picture of the last time we saw each other. "Remember this day?" I asked. Silver and Tails smiled and nodded. "That day was the last day we ever saw you," Tails said hugging me with tearful eyes. Silver hugged me also as the three of us stood like idiots hugging. I really didn't care how idiotic we looked like I just loved having my friends back. Sonic and Knuckles smiled as Shadow just stared at us. Silver and Tails released me with smiles. "Alexis where are your mom and dad?" Sonic asked. I fell to my knees and cried. Eggman destroyed my parents when I was five and burned my house down. Only Silver and Tails know about that. Shadow came up to me and helped me up as I continued crying. "What's wrong?" Knuckles asked. "Alexis lost her parents cause Eggman killed them," Tails explained. "Don't ever make her cry again faker," Shadow said. "Poor thing," Knuckles said. I wiped my tears away and we walked in the house.
