Alexis the Hedgebat

I will not let this happen again.

I opened my eyes and saw I was still on the couch with everyone looking at me. We all stood there in a silent void till Tails came in. "Hey Alexis," He said. "Do you remember us?" Sonic asked. "Why wouldn't I?" I asked. "We were so worried about you," Sapphire said hugging me. "I'm fine," I said clutching the new bandages that were around my stomach and back. "You might want to take it easy," Aislin said to me. "I'm fine," I said trying to get up. "Please don't try to get up Alexis," Gina said motioning to me. I sighed in defeat and sat down still holding my stomach. "Where were you?" Rose asked me. "Some other weird dimension," I said. "Is that why your wearing that dress?" Crimson asked motioning to my dress. I didn't even notice I was still wearing it. I looked down and nodded. "It was so weird. It was like everyone was a knight and all that stuff," I said. "Weird," Luna said. "She's awake," Bailey said smiling at me. I tried to return it but only looked down. I saw Sonic, Shadow, and Silver walk into the living room where the rest of us were. "Your okay," Shadow smiled at me and gave me a hug. I giggled at him as he released me with a big blush on his cheeks. Shadow looked away embarressed and he chaos controlled somewhere. I looked at Sonic and Silver. "See Sonic, I told you she would be alive," Silver said rolling his eyes. "And yes I remember you Sonic the Hedgehog," I said sarcastically. "Sorry we thought you wouldn't remember us," Sonic said looking down at me. I flew off the couch and sat on Sonic's head laughing. Sonic only growled at me as I stayed in my place. We then decided to head to a party. We hung out there for a while till a weird purple hedgehog kidnapped Sapphire. "Sapphire!" Sonic and I cried. We all decided to go to Eggman's base to get her back. As we all got in we saw the purple hedgehog, a new hedgehog that looked like Sapphire but yellow and with no pupils, and Eggman. "Let Sapphire go Eggman!" Sonic yelled. I stared at the yellow hedgehog carefully as I then realized Eggman had done something to Sapphire. Before I knew it Sonic was sepperated from the rest of us by a glass wall. I started kicking it but it didn't break. I didn't care. I kept kicking anyway. Although I knew I was wasting all my energy. "It won't break. Give up," Shadow said helping me up. "I...won't...ever...let...this...happen again..." I breathed heavily. "What?" Knuckles asked. "I can't...let it happen...agian." I breathed again. "This happened to one of my friends," I sighed. "I couldn't protect her and I won't let the same thing happen to Sapphire," I yelled. I felt my fur start to glow. My eyes turned yellow. Red jewels showed up on me. The white parts of my eyes turned black. I broke out of the glass, looked and saw Sonic on his knees crying. I looked at Sapphire and saw a small flash in her eyes. I knew the real Sapphire was in there. I put my hand on Sonic's shoulder and looked at him despite my appearence. "I'll help her," I said to him calmly. Sonic wiped the tears away from his muzzle. "Is she going to be okay?" He asked not looking me in the eyes. I looked at him and nodded. "Try and keep everyone calm," I said calmly to him. He nodded and ran over to everyone as Sapphire aimed a gun at Sonic and I. I moves Sonic out of the way and caught the beam. Eggman, the purple hedgehog, and Sapphire all stared at me in wide eyes. That was a mistake. When you stare into my eyes at this stage. You can be either hypnotized or see your worst nightmare. My yellow eyes shined brighter as I made the three of them stay paralized. I could here Sonic in the background trying to calm everyone. I kept my eyes on Sapphire as the two of us stared at each other. I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I only snapped my fingers and saw Sapphire's fur turn back to blue and her pupils returned back to gray. "Alexis what happened to you?" She asked running over to me. I only looked down at myself and sighed. "I couldn't let this happen to one of my best friends," I said. "Not after last time." Everyone ran up to me. "What should I do with them?" I asked motioning to Egghead and the purple hedgehog. "Leave them be for now," Shadow said. I nodded as we all ran back to the house.
