Brincel cast him a grin but before he could speak, Tyun interrupted them. "Ferone, you can 'pup' around later, now follow me." Ferone cast an apologetic glance at Brincel before he chasing after Tyun.

"I think your fight with that pathetic Eison had already proven your battle skills, so I guess we'll hunt," Tyun said.

Ferone had a pang of sympathy for Eison, he had to admit luck saved him, not skill. "How can we find a single mouse in this wretched place?!" He retorted. Tyun didn't batter an eyelash at his attitude.

"Then we go up into the grass." Tyun said. Ferone glanced up, to his shock the height was enormously great.

"We're not going all the way up there are we?" Ferone mumbled. Tyun gave him a look of disapproval.

"I knew everything from up there have no courage and effort." He sneered, Ferone growled and held his ground.

"I am not a coward!" Ferone retorted.

Tyun gave him a challenging look. "Then prove it." He muttered.

Ferone was glad to have his paws on ground the whole way, the rocky slope led to the top. Ferone felt as if he spent the whole morning climbing up to a ridiculous reason. His fur was drenched by heat the time he felt his paws touch grass, giving him a relieving feel.

Tyun had given him no mercy or time to rest. "Now crouch." He ordered urgently. Ferone got off his slumping mode and crouched.

"You crouch like a cowardly lower dog." Tyun snickered. "You need to move your paws and keep your tail down, and also stretch your body longer." Ferone obeyed, furrowing his eyebrow in anger as he struggled to get in the right position.

"Satisfying," Tyun said. "Now walk forward without making a noise." Ferone found it impossible as he spoke. Easier said than done, he thought in annoyance, he took a step forward, only to collapse, earning a sneer from Tyun.

Ferone retried a few times before managing to pounce perfectly. Finally, Tyun seemed impressed. "Not bad." He barked, before menacingly adding. "For a pup." Ferone tolerated his teasing and waited for Tyun's next instructions.

"Now try sniffing." Tyun commanded. Ferone couldn't smell anything. He had never thought of sniffing before, why could such a simple thing be so difficult? He had thought too soon, then a delicious aroma crept into his nose. It smelt of dirt along with meat. "What do you smell?" Tyun questioned.

"I smell dirt and meat." Ferone mumbled while drooling, seeing Tyun raise an eyebrow, he quickly guessed. "Rabbit."

Tyun seemed slightly satisfied. "Now which-" He began, but quickly froze. Ferone attempted to smell too. An unbelievably strong scent filled his nose, he let out a gruesome growl at the disgusting smell. Tyun didn't waste time.

"Quick, we need to get back and warn the other wolves." He swiftly growled, Tyun had already pushed him and they were both speeding in fear.

Ferone had already knew that the foul scent meant something bad, and fear was crawling over his skin.
