An ordinary day
It all began like a normal day. My alarm clock went of at 7:00. I got up, brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, got dressed, and ate breakfast. My mom drove my and my 8-year-old-sister to school. This part of the story is really boring, so I’ll try to tell it quickly. My first class is English, which I love, because I love to read. Then we had math. Blah. We had a quiz that I’m pretty sure I failed. Then we have science, which is okay. Then lunch. It’s pizza day in the cafeteria. After lunch we have history. I really don’t like my History teacher. He has such a monotonous voice; everybody practically falls asleep during class. Blah, blah, blah, 1859. Blah, blah, 1562. Boring! Then we have P.E. I don’t like running, but we get to play dodge ball, which I love. We finish the day with art, where we draw still life paintings of dried flowers. At the end of the day my mom comes to pick my sister and I up from school. An ordinary school day.
When I get home I go to my room, the first thing I see is the painting. A couple months ago my aunt got took my to this really antique old painting shop and I got to pick out a birthday present. I picked the painting. I just turned twelve. It’s almost one hundred years old. I stare lovingly at it. I still can’t believe it’s mine.
Suddenly, a strange wind started to blow around me even though the window was shut. The wind started blowing faster and faster and then I felt a weird pulling feeling. I know all this sounds like something made up, but I swear, it really happened. I… I was being pulled into my drawing of a girl! I was actually being pulled into the drawing of the girl! I got sucked in farther. I was so scared. Then I was going, going, gone.
