Chapter 6: I am not leaving.

"I didn't think the president would take her away," Alexis said. "So when does he make her forget about you?" "What?" I felt my phone ring in my back pocket. I answered it. "Hello?" "Hi Emily it's me Mindy." "Oh Mindy thank lord it's you. I'm scared out of my mind." "Did you watch another horror movie?" "No you have to listen to me I-" The phone was ripped out of my shaking hands. I looked as Shadow hung up the call and step on my phone.

I screamed at him and he death glared me. "You will not be using this," Shadow said as Alexis walked up to him. "Shadow that was a little harsh." I stared up at her. "Give us five minutes okay?" Shadow nodded then closed the door. Alexis turned human then tears filled her eyes. She cried and hugged me with a lot of strength. "I'm so sorry I got you into this," Alexis cried on my shoulder. Her brown eyes now soft again. We both stood hugging and crying. Alexis was shorter than I am. I looked down at her brown hair.

"I wish it didn't have to end like this," Alexis wailed as Shadow walked up to us. "Time's up." Shadow grabbed Alexis wrist and lead her out. I could see her wipe away a few tears. The room was really big but I felt like a prisoner. I frowned and thought of things I could use to break open the window. I then realized if I were to leave they'd probably come after me. Alexis, Sonic, and Shadow are the fastest things alive. Would Alexis try and hunt me down? Alexis was a totally different person now. I didn't know her all the things she said were lies. "She lied to me," I said punching the matress on my bed. Kerstin and Hannah walked in with handcuffs. They handcuffed me and took me to a giant room with a giant mechanical circle. I saw a two-tailed fox there holding a wrench. He waved at me and smiled. I smiled back as I saw everyone around the circle. "It's almost ready Sonic. Julie should be waiting for us soon," The fox said. "Hi I'm Miles Prower but my friends call me Tails." I shook his hands and the handcuffs came off me. No one said anything as a spark came from the machine. The circle was then filled with a great light. "Time to say good bye," The president called. "Good bye like forever?" I chocked. They all nodded. Alexis looked away as Shadow smiled at her. We all said good bye till it was Alexis turn. She hugged me and smiled. Alexis grabbed me by the shoulders and shoved me in the circle.
