Redstar's Secret

Chapter 7

A flash of lightning hit the tree above, and toppled over and fell into the pit she was struggling to get out of. Her claws were worn out, and it was beginning to rain. but out of the blue, a warrior who smelled of no clan snatched her up out of the Dark Forest entrance and quickly brought her to a clan camp. She was rushed into what smelled like a medicine cat's den, and she fell unconscious. Do you think she'll be okay? mewed the voice of an apprentice.
As Redpaw woke up, she jumped to her feet in fear and confusion, she was let out of the medicine cats den. She met a young cat, Echopaw, an apprentice training to be a warrior. He took much interest in Redpaw, nosing her gently, asking her questions. A warrior came to take Redpaw home, his name was Whitetail, and he seemed really grumpy to be taking an apprentice to her camp. Redpaw couldn't stop thinking about Echopaw, though she wanted to go home, she wanted to be with Echopaw.
The thought flooded her mind like a dent in the soft earth filling up with water so quickly it sunk into the dirt, making a bigger hole, until it filled with dirt and washed away. Redpaw had no idea of what that cat meant to her, or what kinds of trouble they'd get into. Redpaw was determined, that when she was a  warrior, she would return to find Echopaw.
