The queen that had been taking care of her was kind, Redkit was 6 moons old, so she could eat fresh-kill, when Redkit was strong enough to return, a warrior named Leopardpelt escorted her to Thunderclan camp. It was the day of she and her sister's apprentice ceremonies. Jaggedstar, who was recently made leader, lept gracefully to the Highrock, she apprenticed Maplekit, then me. Maplekit's mentor was Lilyflower, our wisdom cat, my mntor was our deputy, Suntail. I was so proud. My best friend Tigerkit, who was a moon younger than I, poked her head out of the quiet nursery, just to see me.
Tigerkit's mother Tailfeather pulled her back in, her mother was a kittypet, and she was planning to leave her kits in Thunderclan when they were 6 moons, then and only then, would she return to her Twolegs. The cats didn't see why Tailfeather wanted to return to those twolegged beasts, her name would be Fluffy, she'd eat those crowfood pellets, and worst of all, under control, Ick, thought Redpaw, just thinking of the taste of those pellets.
