Angels on Halloween

Angels on Halloween
Over the next week Cheyenne and The Doctor rarely spoke, except about her life. There would be times during the day when he would disappear for an hour or two then reappear in time for dinner. Finally Halloween arrived and Cheyenne was ready to go hang out with her friends that night.

"Doctor!", yelled Cheyenne from her bedroom. "What is it?"asked The Doctor walking in. "How do I look?" Cheyenne asks turning around in place. She was wearing an ankle length white dress with blue snow flakes, black knee high boots, a blue belt around her waist and her black hair curled."Pretty, who are you suppose to be?" he asks. "I'm a snow queen, me and my friends are dressing as queens of the earth elements," Cheyenne says, "I'm Snow, Ann is Fire and Lizzy is Earth."

"Ok, but why are you leaving now? It's only 3:30", he says checking her alarm clock. "The town is like 20 miles from here and the party starts at 5:00", Cheyenne says, "and Lizzy's mom is coming to pick me up in like 10 to 15 minutes." The Doctor didn't say anything after that, he just nodded and walked out of the room.

15 minutes later Lizzy's mom pulls up into the driveway as Cheyenne walks out of the house. Finally thought Cheyenne I'm getting away from The Doctor for a few hours, he's been acting so strange lately. Leaving and disappearing for a few hours every day and then asking about her childhood. "Cheyenne!", yelled Lizzy pulling her out of her thoughts and getting into the car next to Ann. "You look fantastic!"  (Ha Ha see what I did there?)

"You too Lizzy and you also Ann," Lizzy was wearing a brown floor length dress, a light green sweater, plastic leaves decorating her hair like a crown, brown ankle boots and her blonde hair in a bun. Ann was wearing a knee high red dress, 1 inch heels, her red hair hanging about half way down her back and gold glitter in it.

"We ALL look good", says Ann grinning. "I am going to get a picture of you all when we get to town." says Lizzy's mom.

20 miles later after Lizzy's mom drops the girls off at the park down town and gets a picture the girls start up towards the school. "So Cheyenne are you alright you don't look so well," asks Ann. "Yes, I'm fine it's just..... I miss my dad," she answers back. But that's not all, whenever something bad or strange is going to happen soon, Cheyennes necklace gives her some kind of cold sensation through her body as a warning. "Are you sure?" asks Lizzy, "because I can call my mom-" "No Lizzy I'm fine, just go on ahead I need to think about some thing alone for a few ok?"

Lizzy and Ann didn't object they just nodded and walked off. When Lizzy and Ann were out of site Cheyenne turned around and ran back into the park and into the woods, she had to think about what was about to happen next. Then she tripped half way down a hill and rolled over hitting her knee on a rock trying not to cry out.

She tried to get up but couldn't, so she crawled over to the nearest tree and pulled herself up. Pain shot up her leg making her almost black out and eyes tear up , but she stood the rest of the way and looked around. What Cheyenne saw scared her and she would never forget. She was surrounded by statues of angels, weeping angels, and they were moving towards her every time she looked away. "Some one help me please I'm scared. I'm so so scared."
