Josh's POV

We were in the VTOL heading to the barrier of this part of the city. I was in a Hunter suit which was just like the old Robo suit but had to hunt and I couldn't get rid of the old classics like my 2 swords and pistol but I also had my assault rifle which grenade launcher. I looked out of the hatch to see nothing but broken buildings and nearly everything was on fire. This was what was left now. I turned to see Jackie, George, Sapph and Dave sat down the only person who wasn't here was Harry who was in his mech being carried by the VTOL. "Alright everyone listen up! We go in take out the 2 monsters down there along with delta team, echo team and bravo team! We do it quick and clean and feel free to show me what you got!" I yelled out to all of them.
"Yes sir!" They all yelled back.
"Alright we go down in 30 seconds get yourselves ready!" I turned and looked back out the hatch. The VTOL lowered and dropped Harry down and we followed soon after. I pulled my assault rifle up to me shoulder and looked around. We split up me and Jackie used our jet packs to jump up on a platform and started to run along it. Sapph and the others were down on street level. I turned and there he was. One of the beast was running right at us. Me and Jackie jumped off the platform and hovered there shooting at it with all we had. It wasn't slowing down. Then we moved to dodge it and it went straight for the others. Well it didn't get far I'd say. Harry rammed into it with his freaking mech and stopped it in it's tracks so George and Dave could pin it with the laser harpoons and well Sapph was just shooting it with her mini gun. My radio went off "Josh we lost our mech he went down just 2 minutes ago we need a pilot!" it yelled at me. I had to do something we only came here with 2 pilots Harry and echos one.
"Alright I'm on my way! Guys I'm going to go help echo delta's on the way to help you!" I said down the mic.
"Alright sir we got this one!" Harry said back. He seemed confident. I like this kid. I landed on another platform and ran to were echo had landed. I ran around to see echo getting smacked around by a demo it was a built up beast with huge hand things, oh and breath fire. I saw their mech it was knelt down and I ran to it hopping the rail of the platform. I looked in the cockpit seems the guy in it was ripped out and thrown 'cause there's no one in it. I slowly climbed in and grabbed to handles and put my feet on the, well feet controller things. It moved me around and I was now standing in the cockpit with my hands on these handles. This was going to be awesome. It booted up and the door closed and the screen lit up and showed me what the mech could see in front of it almost like eyes, well no they were eyes. "Welcome commander Joshua Smith to mech armor 251" Said the A.I of the mech "I am Sally and I am your mechs A.I" That's what I said.
"Thanks Sally shall we get this done?" I said with my massive smile on my face.
"Indeed sir that is what we are here for" She said to me as if I was stupid. I rolled my eyes and ran at the Demo. It looked at me and ran at me. We smashed into each other. I raised my right hand and the mech did the same thing then I sent it down and again as did the mech which smashed the Demo in the head. I just kept hitting it over and over and I was enjoying ever second of it. "Sir may I suggest a weapon request" Sally said to me as if it knew what I wanted right now.
"Um sure get me whatever" I said back kicking the Demo into a building. It didn't take long till I got this "Weapon request on the way" I winder what she got me. Then a jet flew over and a pod came out and landed next to me. I ripped the door off. Oh hello. I took out a large sword from it. "Sally thank you!" I said as if I was 20 again. I ran at the Demo dragging the sword on the ground. The Demo roared at me. How rude! I got right up to it and pulled the sword up slashing it across the chest. It fell in pain with it's chest bleeding. I stabbed the sword through it's head and ripped it out again. The Demo just fell nearly without a head. So that's Me 1 monsters 0. I put the sword by my side and looked around. "Josh the Demo on our side is down. How you doing?" Jackie said to me over the radio.
"I'm done head back to base and regroup. I'll debrief you when we all get back" I said back starting to walk away. I loved this thing i think I may keep it. But that's for another day time to go back and go to bed.
