Description: So many people have Rainbow Looms in Chicago! Do they were you live? Everyone is making these super fancy bracelets!!! It's kind of crazy! I have one, too! (In case you don't know, Rainbow Loom is a bracelet making kit. You make bracelets out of rubber bands.)

Rumor: People think that two girls invented Rainbow Loom. Is that true?

Fad: Cell Phones

Description: At my Middle school, every morning, all the students wait out in the hallway before class begins. They go on their cell phones and call, text, and play games. They do it after school, and whenever they can! They're addicted!

Rumor: Kids with cell phones think that other kids without cell phones are weird. I don't have a cell phone. :(

Description: I know what you might be thinking: 'Pets aren't a fad! Everyone has pets! They're part of everyone's daily life!' Well, where I live, EVERY PERSON THAT I KNOW has some sort of a pet. And everyone talks about their pets all the time! They're obsessed.

Rumor: Dogs are the most popular pet in Chicago.
