Tale of a Gorgon; MEDUSA

Medusa

Medusa was left alone and forsaken. She was about to stand up when a weird light encircled her whole body. She felt her limbs go numb and her body stretch into something longer, she could feel bites on her neck and her skin was becoming rough and rough. Then the light faded and she was left lying on the ground. As she opened her eyes, she sat and stared at the horror in front of her. There was a horrible snake's tail and she was scared to death! It seemed her body had transformed into that and she had no feet.
She quickly crawled to a pond of water to see her reflection and was dumbfounded as she saw herself as the most hideous creature...

Medusa's beautiful and translucent skin was now rough and of a light green color. It was covered in scales as well. Her plump and natural pink lips were now black and and she had canines that pierced them so that blood was constantly trickling from her mouth.  Those eyes as blue as the sky were no longer pleasant as her irises were red and had a look that would turn anyone into stone. And the most horrible sight were the small venomous snakes on her head which replaced her past silky and long hair...
