A person from the past
Liam P.O.VI took a seat in one of the chairs and checked the time. In a few hours, she'd be back. When she said yes, I felt like the luckiest man alive. She was my whole world. It was a bit stupid that I planned the wedding before and arranged everything even though she could have said no. But I knew she'd say yes. I had a feeling. Everything was planned. From the guests to the after party and honeymoon. After she says yes, the music will start. We'll dance while I sing. She'll love it. At the after party, my mates and I will sing. This is gonna be great. "Liam?" A familiar voice asked. I turned my head towards the direction of the voice and saw a young woman with curly hair. "Danielle?" "What are you doing here?" She sounded more surprised than I was. "Um.. My girfr.. My fiancée is having an operation. And you?" "Fiancée? Wow, I never thought you'd move on that fast. Right, my best friend had an accident." Oh was the only word that came out of my mouth. "So who's the lucky girl?" I guess she was trying to start a conversation. "Angela." "Oh, Angela Trees." "How do you know?" "Everyone's talking about her. She's everywhere." "She is?" "Yes. So why her? What's so special?" "She's beautiful inside and out. She's been hurt in the past and I want to be there for her. She has a cute laugh and makes me feel special. She looks at me like I'm the only boy in the world when there are billions of other men. After a hard day at work, she's there to support me. She loves me for me, not because I'm a celebrity." "I see." The silence was getting awkward. Danielle and I used to date but that was before I found out she was cheating on me with some other celebrity who was also in a boy band. "Why did you cheat on me?" I mentally slapped myself. Why did I ask that? I'm so stupid. "I never cheated on you Liam." She was lying. "I'm not lying." Did I say that out loud? "Yes." She sighed. "Look Liam, I never cheated on you. We were sorta practicing our scene for the movie." "Movie?" "Yes. Liam, I was closed to play the main character in a movie. The movie was supposed to be in London, where you were going. I wanted to surprise you but failed when you broke up with me." Everything made sense now. "Supposed?" "Yes. I dropped out of the movie after you broke up with me. I was too depressed to continue. After that, the directors couldn't find another good actress to play my role so the movie was postponed but then they found out that century fox wasn't interested anymore so they cancelled the movie." "What was the name of the movie?" "The place where we first met." "What was it about?" "How you and me met." Silence. I remember how we first met. It was a long story so I wasn't surprised that they were going to make a movie. "I wanted you to play your role but you were too busy anyways." I stared at her and saw a few cuts and marks on her arms. She saw what I was looking at and pulled down her sleeves. "Have you been cutting?" She slowly nodded. "Why?" No reply. "Was it because of me?" "Yes."
