Hawk eyes
It's fascinating how animals can adapt to an environment. Now came a different question, would I be able to adapt to a completely different place?Today was the day i began packing. Packing for my new home. A chance for something new, maybe this time i can actually fit in my new school and not be the weird loner kid again. I had everything set out, the things i should take and the things i should leave behind. My aunt thinks that it's a little too early to be packing but i'm too excited.
Only a week left of school, a few more sleeps.
Monday
I woke up today feeling really good, maybe because this is the last week of what has been the worst school experience of my life. But that's not it at all, my eyes, they were better. I was what they call four eyes. Suddenly everything changed this morning, i could see brilliantly with my glasses off.
I ran downstairs to tell my aunt, she just looked at me and said, " the transition has come earlier than expected."
She's creepy sometimes and a little hard to understand. I love her still, i know where all my weirdness comes from.
As soon as i enter the school gates everything seems a little more depressing than usual, i could feel the happiness being drained out of me very slowly. Until Nathan came up to me and noticed how i wasn't wearing any glasses.
He's just this guy i sit next to in science, we talk, occasionally. I know what you're thinking and no i don't fancy him.
School was okay, i had managed to avoid Sarah and her gang all day. They always pick on me but i could see them coming from a mile away. I felt like i had hawk eyes.
I don't know how but i'm changing slowly and i kind of like it.
