Chapter 13

Bella's Point Of View:

I hid behind the stacks of endless boxes as I heard the hit men enter. I shouldn't have done this. I shouldn't have done this. I'm going to die, I'm going to die. I slowly walked, soundless, trying to get to the other end of the warehouse.
"We have the money," a voice boomed. Her father. "Now give us the key to the other warehouse for the girl." I remained silent, still walking to the other exit. And then I fell into a box, and it fell, sending out ripples of falling boxes, me in the center, almost invisible as Bella Greengrass, but clearly visible as a kidnapper. I saw the bullet rocket towards me, there was no chance of me escaping it. I screamed as the bullet pierced my arm, narrowly missing my chest. The world went blurry. Black dots appeared at the sides of my vision as I slipped and fell, hitting my head against the wall.
