Families? Oh no! If they find out then it's all over! No keep calm Ash, you just have to lie and everything will be fine.
"So Emma, sisters? Brothers? Are your parents divorced? Are your grandparents still alive?" I asked. "No, I'm an only child. And well, my parents aren't really divorced but my dad is dead. And yes all my grandparents are healthy and alive." Just keep asking questions. "And you..." "I'm really sorry Emma, about your dad! Look if there's anything I can do just ask. Oh yeah and one last question, how did your dad die?" "Well, my dad was a pilot and...." Just let her talk until it's over! "And then one of the engines died and he tried...." You know, Emma's not that bad! Everyone thinks she's such a nerd just because she gets good grades and dresses like one but if you get to know her she's really just a normal person. What? What am I saying? She's a freak, no one likes her! Well, no one likes her cause they didn't  get to know her! What? No! Oh gosh, stop it! "But he failed so the plane crashed and everyone on board died." "Oh I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed. She sniffed. Was she about to cry? "So Ashley, what about you?" "Um... I have one sister, Gisselle and she's really pretty, she has brown wavy hair with purple tips and she has green eyes. She is fun, nice, funny and creative!" "Oh that's nice! But what about your parents? How's your mom?" As she said the word mom, my whole body froze. "Ashley? Ashley? Ashley?" Flashbacks of my mom popped into my head. She used to be happy and beautiful until the doctors found out that she had.... "Ashley?" Emma shouted. I jumped. "I'm sorry, I have to go! See you at the cabin!" I got up and ran out the door. "Ash..." Tears started forming as I thought about my mom. "Mom, mom, MOM!" It started raining. I ran as fast as I could but the slipped in the mud. I fell and sprained my ankle. "Ow! Help! Mom! Anybody!" Before fainting,I saw Emma and Martina running towards me.
