A Bright Light

Two Days Later...

Longdale High School was on hold for a few days, seeing as everything needed to be sorted. Amelia was still at the hospital to getting checked out for tests and when she got the all clear, she was desperate to see Bethany.
As being protective parents, following behind Amelia down the hospital corridor smelling like disinfectant, they all reached the last ward Bethany was in. A look of worry from Amelia as she steadily walked in as to find four nurses each rushing around giving out instructions as Amelia's parents quickly tried to push their puzzled daughter away from the scene, but unfortunately failed, due to the fact that the nurses stopped what they were doing with the words from one nurse, "we've lost her."
A single tear of sorrow slowly ran down Amelia's soft cheek.
