INTO THE WOODS~

Where's Becky?!~

      I have never been the type of girl to gossip or even tell lies, but this story is true.
   It started in a campsite called, "steam men woods". It was a pretty creepy place so there were always rumors, I just never really believed or wanted to listen to them.
    One day in particular all the rumors had became true, when my best friend Becky went "missing".
       The day it happened my family and Becky's were camping at said campsite.
    It was sunset when my father asked me and Becky to go and find some wood or twigs that we could use to cook dinner, me and Becky agreed and started into the woods, farther, and farther away from the campsite.
        It was probably the worst time to be going in the woods with all the fog rolling in and it was almost night, but still we went along with it.
    Becky was a chicken so she stayed really close to my side, practically constricting me.
    While Becky was distracted, I looked around for a few minutes till my eyes came upon some wood and twigs, so of course I went and grabbed them and to find out they had been soaked, so I turned and said,
         "the wood is wet Beck-"
         "Becky?!"
        I couldn't find her, I was surprised at thinking that she would have wondered back to camp alone with the sun setting.
    So I looked around for her, calling her, then finally screaming her name, no response.
         "Just great," I thought to myself as I kept looking.
     It seemed like forever until the sun finally had set, it was pitch black now so I reached in my back side pocket and grabbing my flashlight and switching it on.
    I was walking along the dirt and rock filled path that would eventually lead me back to camp when of course the scary movie  moment happened when I started hearing noises, not the normal forest noises but almost human but at the same time not, and each time I heard it, it sounded closer.
         For a moment I thought it might have been Becky, so I turned around and shone my flashlight to the noise and what I saw was NOT Becky!
   It was horrid, and human but at the same time wore a black suit and red tie, with tentacle like objects squirming from its back, but the worst part was that it had no face!
          I was so scared, I had dropped my flashlight and started running off back the way I came, I ran until I could literally run no more.
    I sighed as now I had no light source and that I would have to carry on knowing the creature was still lurking around me.
          As I was walking I rubbed up against a tree to feel a paper like object attached to it, I grabbed it, not knowing what it said or if it even said anything.
         Even so I was started to get less worried about Becky and now about my own safety and life and getting back to camp.
     After those thoughts I started to panic so I began to run once again into the hellish fogged forest.
    When suddenly my leg caught something and I tripped, hearing a sharp snap in my leg, I knew it was broken.
          "Oh god, it's bleeding." I said rubbing my leg and feeling the liquid.
          I hopped into a near by bush and feeling warm tears stream down my face, I cried.
