Just Go Tell The Girl
"Are you okay, Cam?" Lilly asked."No. But I can't let Julia down" said Cameron sitting up. "But your practically cross-eyed. And the mail, well you submitting us for the War Fiesta wasn't a good idea" said Lilly.
"Cameron!!! Listen, we could get picked. We'd have to fight evil mermaids, and fire-breathing serpernts" Lilly added.
"But Julia. She-she needs to know" Cameron's voice crackled. "What about?" Lilly said, trying to convinve Cameron that this was all a mistake and that she should drop out of the War Fiesta Drawing.
"Julia needs to kn-know. I need to t-tell her" Cameron stood up and felt her black vest swirling beneath her regret.
"No you don't. Telling her will affect conflict. And after that..." Lilly's voice trailed off. "But what if we swung in there at last minute and made it on the cover of Redfurd Magazine Today?" Cameron asked jokingly.
Lilly made a face. "If that happened...perhaps" she smiled slowly.
