Slumber Party!!

Three worst days (of school) of my life passed, and we went back to the norm; hiding, keeping to just the four of us, and trying to avoid the THE Girls. It was starting to irritate me, all this blending in stuff. I hadn't made any other friends since I came to Sliverkings. It was just Sandra, Lauran, and Kaycee, no one else. Not only was that bothering me, but getting in trouble made it harder for us to "blend in". People would be afraid to even look our way because of what happened. Were the THE Girls controlling the whole school? If so, I was tired of it. So, that weekend, I planned a get -together with Sandra, Lauran, and Kaycee. They didn't know that we where going to talk about standing up for themselves.
Saturday is when they came over. It was slightly snowing outside and it wasn't too cold. They all came at one time, "Hi, guys! Welcome, I'm so happy you could come over!!" I said with excitement. Not only was I going to talk to them about confidence, but it was also the first slumber party I was going to have in Reno which was pretty sweet (even though they've been to my house before).
"I'm happy that you invited us! We haven't hung out outside of school in a while, so it's nice that we get to," said Kaycee. We carried all their luggage to my room. After that we went to the kitchen to see what my mom was cooking for dinner, "Hi, girls. I'm cooking ham and mashed potatoes. Is that okay with everyone?" my mother asked.
We nodded our heads with smiles. Dinner was going to be delicious! My mom is a professional chef at a five star restaurant (which is why we had to move to Reno) and she is amazing with her home meals, "Amanda, your mom is the best cook ever!" Sandra said after dinner. Afterwards, we decided to get all the pillows and sheets in the house (with my mom's permission) to build a fort. That was so much fun, but when was I going to bring up standing up for ourselves? I really didn't want to destroy the first slumber party in Reno with my only friends from there. I need to talk to them about it, and I want to.
      I can't.
