Detention Sweet Detention
"So, tell me what ever reason or reasons you dumped pudding on one of the Anderson Triplets," the dean demanded as he sat down in his black, leather office chair. The four of us looked at each other, panicking. Lauran, Kaycee, and Sandra looked down. What was going on? "Well then, you four look like you don't want to talk, so I will assign three days of detention. I hope you girls will learn your lesson in there." the dean said. Three days!! We didn't do anything! The next day the four of us had glares that looked about in the thousands. Lunch was even worse. Never have I eaten lunch in complete silence, and not only that, our names were in red dry-erase marker on the board in the detention room. Three days of this, no way. We had to talk to the dean about what really happened. After the longest lunch ever, I talked to Sandra about it "Hey, do you think we should tell the dean what really happened? If we do we could get out of detention and the THE Girls could get in trouble,""No way! We can't tell him anything about what really happened! If we do, then they'll just start to spread rumors about us, me.." Sandra said, her voice trailing off. It was the same answer from Lauran and Kaycee. Am I the only one that wants to tell the truth? Hiding the truth and myself isn't going to help the situation, but the majority of us didn't want to say anything. I had to respect that. "Two more days of detention then," I thought to myself, "I'll just have to deal with it to protect my friends." The only problem, though, it made me sick to the stomach to serve time in detention for nothing.
