A Piece of the Puzzle
I ran. I ran after Riley and didn't stop until she did. "Riley! Riley!" I called out. She turned around and I could see the endless wash of tears flowing down her face. "What? What? Is there another boy who likes you!?" she asked. There was now, Jason. But I wasn't going to bring THAT up. "Riley, I'm truthully sorry but I'm afraid I have to show you what happened in order for you to understand" I said. Riley blew a strand of strawberry-blonde hair from her eyes and stared at me. "Okay" she said finnally. "Good. It's still lunchtime. If we hurry we won't be late for our next classes" I grabbed her hand and we ran to my house. My sister was there, sick. Well, she wasn't exactly sick. She was faking because as soon as I opened the door, Buff Boy and Gavvy Girl's voice were yelling at each other on the screen. "Umm, so Keraa, sick huh?" I said. Keraa glared at me. Her evil If-You-Tell-Mom-And-Dad-Your-Buffolo-Meat glare. I rolled my eyes and led Riley up the stairs. "Okay. So you know Jason right?" I asked. "Of course." Riley said. "Well, I created a potion so that Jason would fall in love with me. But I didn't give it to him yet. I didn't know it would create romance between other boys-"I began. "Keraa!" I ran down the stairs. "What?" she asked. "Did you give somebody a purple drink?" I said as it all fell into place.
