Hawaii Lights
I walked timidly out of the Airport, bags in hand. "Mom, are we going to get a taxi" I said, glancing at the Palm tress and bright lights. Pink petunia's stuck up out of the air and the lights were beautifully adorned around the city, as if it had been waiting for MY arrival. Ooh! "Actually, the condo is just 3 blocks away. We can walk and save our money" my mom walked quicker and she stopped on a street called Exwells. Infront of us was a tall building engraved in yellow lettering. Pulling me inside, mom checked us in and led us up the elevator. I could've sworn that the cute male teen managing the check out and in desk was staring at me. I blushed and looked away from mom. "Exwells a weird name right, Madison" said mom. "Right mom" I said. We stopped on floor 3 and found our apartment at the very end. "Mom. Exwells sounds like a Nanny's name. And how am I supposed to walk in wet nailpolish for a mile; just to reach the elevator." I said, with sass. "She's my daughter" said mom as she unlocked the door. "Oh wow" I managed.
