Coming of Age
Whatever the cost was of finding out exactly why everybody was staring her out was not what Mya had been excepting. She clutched her pretty red dress and reluctanly sat down in a seat to face the Cermony of Credayal. "Mya. You don't have to be so fancy" Yvette giggled. "But Anya told me dressing formal was the way everybody was going to look at the cermony. Ugh! That witch. I have no feelings for Anya!" Mya slumped in her seat, causing even more stares. "Mya, I understand that you and Anya don't get along but can't you just come out of that hole and find out how great Anya really is" said Yvette. "What?" said Mya sitting up a bit straighter."What I mean is Yvette invited me to her sleepover and she was thinking about inviting you too. C'mon! She is the most popular girl at Wengston High!" Yvette said. "How could you even agree to help her out. This stupid cermony of Credayal is getting on my nerves" Mya stormed out of the room and sulked on the walls outside, as the man's voice boomed from inside the small speakers. "Princess Mya. Come here" said a whispery voice. Mya looked around. "Anya, if this is your idea of a joke you don't have to do it" said Mya, annoyed. "Who's Anya?" said a more humanly voice. "Shhh! We need to get her to believe" the whispery voice sighed. "Mya, come to us. Come into the light" said the whispery voice. "ANYA!" Mya yelled, now almost convinced that it wasn't a complete joke. "MYA! Come now, come come come" the human voice said. Mya sighed. She had to go, whether or not it was a joke or not. She slowly stepped into the light, holding her dress. There was the whispery girl, she seemed to have a tintidh purple glow to her pale skin and the human wasn't even human at all. He had metal wings and one eye in his forehead. "Come, Mya. We are taking you back to your homeland. You have come of age".
