I shall not laugh,
For after, I will cry

I shall not smile,
For after, I will frown

I shall not comfort,
For after, I will betray

I shall not love,
For after, I will break

I shall not heal,
For after, I will tear

You will not get close,
For after,

You shall get hurt



Author's note ( I 'think' that I am getting better at this poetry thing, this is actually about a girl, who has never loved, or been loved, so she teaches herself to just shut off the reast of the world, and keep to herself, because inside, she really isn't that cold, but she is afraid, that if she loves anyone, she will lose controll and end up hurting them, or she would see the world hurt her loved one.
