Meeting Niall
I was just a normal girl. A plain girl, with a boring life, a school and no friends. My best friend Liana moved away just one week before my birthday and I haven't heard from her since. She left me alone in high school, in the way MIDDLE of high-school. I still had my bubbly personality but I just couldn't get a smile on my face. My parents couldn't make me laugh. My dad told me some cheesy jokes, but do you laugh at cheesy jokes? No. Today was my birthday and my parents decided to take me to Nando's. I wasn't really satisfied about it, but what I was about to find there, it would change my life forever. When I say forever, I mean it. "Natasha, stand up straight. And drop that attitude. We don't want people to think that you're a girl that doesn't appreciate what she has." My mum gave me that annoying pep-talk that always made me want to scream at her.
I didn't say anything though, I tried my best to stand up straight and forced a smile. But mum didn't even appreciate that.
"Natasha, what are you trying to do? You look like a grinning-freak!"
That really made me angry. My grumpy attitude filled my body. I didn't say a word and I felt like bursting with anger. But I decided to keep it to myself because the waiter just led us to our table. I smashed down onto my chair and saw my mum looking at me with a stern look. I ignored her glazing eyes and looked at the menu instead. I scanned down the menu. I saw the Nando's special and decided to settle with it. I pulled my black hoodie over my eyes and imagined happy places- not that worked. The next moment someone plopped down right next to me.
"Ah, so we're ordering Nando's! I love Nando's and mashed potatoes, roast potatoes and baked potatoes." the anonymous voice said. I was quite amused because I enjoyed his Irish accent, so I looked at him.
I stared. I was shocked. I was looking at a guy with blonde hair with blue eyes. His smile was dazzling and he looked at me.
"Um, who are you? Have I seen you somewhere?" I asked.
"Maybe. My name is Niall Horan, but don't tell anyone." he whispered. "I'm James Horan, a dentist." The last part he highered his voice so that everyone could hear.
"But really, have I seen you before? You really look familiar."
"You'll figure it out soon." he winked at me. "So, what are we eating?!"
