CHAPTER 6 A NEW DAY




Kami awoke the next morning with a sore pain in her back. She didn't know or care about the pain, she just wanted to go down stairs and eat a Tw*nkie. Yes, our heroine loves Tw*nkie's. Her and Jake usually eat two for breakfast each morning.

Kami stretched the same as if she was a sly cat waking up from a nap. She then undressed herself from her button up night gown and strolled to her closet. She pulled out a Never Shout Never shirt and pulled it over her head, then put on some gray furry tights and a pink skirt. She the nun zipped and zipped her white snow boots while sliding her small white feet inside. Don't worry though. She remembered the socks.

Kami waltzed to her bathroom and brushed her hair. After this she brushed and rinsed her teeth before going down stairs.

Once arriving at the bottom step she noticed on the table in the dinning room was two T*nkie's already opened and sitting on a plate. It must have been my mother she thought. She walked in and sat down slowly nibbling the Tw*nkie's. She felt as if, if she didn't savior every bite... It would disappear forever.

Kamis kitchen was designed as if it had came from Japan, her mother, Janet, loved all things Asian, and wanted to one day open a Chinese Buffett here in Ekachakra. The business might thrive more and it would bring in more tourist, and people to live here. It wasn't really a thriving town, but a old dying town.

" good morning sweet heart"
Kami jumped once she heard the females voice ring throughout the house. Kami turned around to smile at the woman.
" good morning mum" Kami said studying her mother.

Kami's mother was a short woman with a chubby stature. She had electric blue eyes and pale skin. Her blond hair was short with a bob and she was always wearing green. Today her mother was wearing a green Kimono that she ordered from japan.

" so, do you know what today is?" She asked giving Kami a stern look.

" yes" sighed Kami. She also knew that everyone would pick her to do the dreadful task.
Today at school, Kami would be picked to deliver the sacrifice to the pit in the woods. Hopefully though, that wouldn't include herself.

Just then a knock at the door echoed throughout the house.

" I guess that's my leave" her mother sighed walking off toward her bedroom.

Kami left to open the door to find Jake and Meredith glaring at each other.
When Meredith saw me she gave a huge smile before squealing.

" hey girl! So like let's go to school together!"

" ummm"

Jake then mumbled something under his breath.

" whatever, your just jelause that Kami will share more gossip with me then you." Meredith giggled glaring at Jake.

Today Jake was wearing a Pierce The Veil shirt and blue skinnys. He also had a blue Bennie and his hair curved around his face as always. His green eyes almost glowed against his pale skin.

Meredith was wearing a one Direction tee and a PINK jacket and miss me jeans. She had a few charm bracelets and pink vans. Her hazel eyes and honey colored hair as always complemented her tan skin.
Meredith was always known to travel to California or places like that for her tan. And she was really beautiful.

" okay we'll let's go, don't wanna be late." Meredith sighed pulling Kami and Jake with her to a yellow corvette.
She opened the door for both of them and shoved them in. She jumped into the driver seat, and without even asking if there seat belt was buckled, drove off.

The five minute ride was very peaceful and quit... At least for Jake and Kami. Meredith on the other hand was growing quit bored of the silence. She was starting to wounded when they would start up a conversation. It was a little annoying at the fact that nobody was speaking. Meredith hated silence, it caused her to think, and she hated thinking.

  Once they arrived at school Kami was smiling. Not because they where at school, but because her wish had come true. Finally her days wouldn't be exactly the same ever again.

  All three of them walked up to the school gates to find the doors locked.

" umm... Like why is the door locked?" Meredith groaned stomping her feet like a two year old.

Just then a note was spotted by Kami and she let out a gasp.

The note read that Robert million, a student and football player at the school was found at 3:00 that morning dead, it took a DNA test to even discover who the body belonged to he was so mangled, therefore. School was canceled.

  Kami and Meredith both almost swore they saw Jake smile. They shrugged it off and walked off to the car.

" horror movie marathon?" Kami asked.
" most definitely" replied Jake giving her a spooky smile.
" ohhh I hate scary movies" Meredith sighed picking at her sparkly nails.
" then don't come"
" but I like, wanna hang with my new... Buddies" Meredith squealed scrunching her nose in Jakes direction.

With that they traveled to Kamis house to watch every good slasher movie known to man.
