Halloween Night

Halloween Night

My Halloween poems I wrote when I was little lol. They are stupid and hilarious when you read them, but I will make some edits to them when I get the chance. I just want people to see how I started out writing poems and how I got them to be what they are today. My poem writing skills have improved by my word choice and all, and I hope everyone else's writing skills improves also. =)

The Witch

There's a witch that flies at night
With an eagles flight
She looks beyond past the land
The tightens her grip on her broomstick with her hand
As she past the moon,
She knew that daylight will be coming soon.
As she yells, "Happy Halloween" and "Goodnight"
She does it with a wicked fright.

(*Author's Note: This poem I wrote in eight grade for a poem project. I got a hundred on it for being the first one to make it rhyme. Eighth grade was what made me write poetry and continue writing poetry from there. My poetry writing skills has improved likewise for my word choice, rhymes schemes and all of that lol. What was ya'lls first poem when you started out writing poetry? Mine are these first three Halloween poems. Poems are very easy to write in my opinion and it help passes time lol.
