Rattlebone Rock
Skeletons dance and skattleAs tiny little goblins have their own little battle.
Three magical witches sphere up a witches brew
When little trick-or-treaters come running as a crew.
Bats screech as loud as they can
And then pumpkin's began to grow and cover the land.
As the night passes on,
Halloween will soon be gone.
When it comes to morning,
crows is what you hear
They're saying they can't wait til next Halloween year.
(Author's Note: I got this idea from my favorite elementary book, "Rattlebone Rock". I loved reading that book every year for Halloween and just reading it over and over gave me an idea for this poem. I'm not sure who wrote the book, but if you guys want, you can look it up. The book is a children's Halloween classic, well to me it is. I grew up with that book and still love it!)
