~ Keara and Kipper the two huskies ~ (Diary entries)

Sunday 7th April- Keara

Dear Diary,

I had a great time playing today! We went on ANOTHER outing today, and it was exactly where we went yesterday! But it wasn’t the same people, there were even more visitors! They were two boys with their mum and dad. It was pretty cool, and I’ll tell you more in a second, but you know what? All the way to that house and all the way back, I cried and cried, because I was unsure of where they were taking me! I sometimes feel like I’m being kidnapped, or should I say, dognapped! But it was pretty fun, so let me tell you more! When we arrived at that house, there were two boys, waiting for us. One boy picked up Kipper, but my owner held onto me, tightly. We were put down on the pavement and I explored my territory. This one boy quite liked me, and his brother, stroked me and played with me for a while. Later on, they all went to the garden and I followed, with great curiosum. I was with my owner for a little bit, but then I went to explore a bit more. I walked through the gate and into a mini-garden. But you know, my owner couldn’t find me! She thought that I ran away! But meanwhile, while she was looking for me, I was just sitting there, relaxed. When she FINALLY found me, which was probably about 5 minutes, she scooped me up and cuddled me close. I guess she was pretty scared!! We still had fun in the garden after that, and wow, those boys are pretty playful! They ran around the place, but one of the boys lay down on the grass and I sniffed him, curious, yet again. When I played with Kipper, which included biting him on the tail and attacking him, all the kids started shouting names, like: ‘Keara! Go Keara!’ and some went ‘C’mon Kipper!’ But the fight didn’t last very long because one of the kids took us apart. It was obvious that they thought I was trying to kill Kipper. As If I would do that! I mean, I do love my brother! After a little while, Kipper and I fell asleep on the grass! We were taken to the pavement, but there was that big dog that barked at us again from the other side of the wall and because of that, we crept under that bench again. We were super scared but luckily our owner was there for us. We went home a little while after the boys left and my owner cleaned up our courtyard! It looks much neater now, phew! Kipper and I just had our dinner and… I think I’m going to take a nap now! Today was a fantastic day!
