~ Keara and Kipper the two huskies ~ (Diary entries)

Wednesday 3rd April- Keara

Dear Diary,

Today was a bit of a cold day and a rainy day, the type of day when, if you go outside, you get wet all over. Well, even if it’s a rainy day, it isn’t necessarily bad. I mean, when your owner lets you play inside with her on a little carpet, it’s actually more of a treat. Well that was how my day went. I was extra obedient today, but not that I’m usually obedient. The rule was to stay on the carpet- we weren’t allowed to move a paw further. I obeyed that rule and everyone gave me praise. I felt pride. I didn’t get to have some fun in the garden today, but that didn’t ruin my fun! I still wrestled with the plants and jumped about in some of the clovers. Kipper and I were cold today as our blanket was a bit wet but my owner gave us another one while they were drying the old blanket. She is very generous and fun to play with! I cuddled up in her lap today but I didn’t sleep! And today the weirdest thing happened. Our food bowl filled up with water from all the rain and our food were in there! It felt like soup, but I did tell eat it. My owner thought it was gross and got us new food before you could say ‘Woof’. Ha-ha, I told you she was a bit of a sanitary freak! Plus, today I chewed on her clothes. I made a little hole, but she did tug! So it’s both of our faults, but she still adores me. Kipper was also fun today, but he’ll tell you what he did in his diary entry! Also, today a guy visited the house and he touched my mouth. I didn’t budge, I looked extra playful and went along with it, but I don’t know if I like strangers very much. I’m still friendly, so don’t get me wrong. My owner’s dad also played with me tonight. He fixed our doggy house. They also put our feeding bowl in there so that it would not get wet during the night. He’s also a good owner. Well, I’m going to play with Kipper now, so bye diary!
