Chapter 3- Your Eternal Kindness

"hey! Wait up!"
You chased after him in the hall, stopping before him. You put your hands on your knees to catch your breathe. He looked at you, a bit worried.
"Are you alright?", he smiled and raised an eyebrow. You felt your heart beat a bit faster.
"y-yeah.. hey.. I just wanted to thank you for saving my butt in class".
"It was no problem. I like helping people," he said simply, as if he gave out answers to difficult math problems all the time.
"W-well.. I really appreciate it," your voice sounded weak to you, but Solus just giggled.
"Like I said, its no problem. What's your name?"
"You can just call me Ash." Solus seemed to be really nice, but up close there was something behind his smile.. like he was wearing it like a mask or something. He blinked and the thought quickly left, replaced by a feeling of foolishness. I must be imagining things..
"Well Ash, you can just call me Solus." He smiled again, and you felt a small flush slowly creep to your cheeks.
you giggled embarrassed, hiding your blush. You may have just made a new friend.

You walked together down the halls. As you walked, you noticed that no-one else decided to talk to him. You saw everyone was staring at you two though, their stares focused solely on him. The girls blushed, the boys looked away or narrowed their eyes, and a certain group of students saw him and instantly went to whispering.
He had them all under his aura.
Just before you reached gym class, two boys shoved past Solus, making him fall and bang his shoulder against the lockers. They snickered and went into class. You helped Solus up.
"Are you ok?"
He rubbed his shoulder, biting his lip slightly as if he had pain. But he's a angel, they can't be hurt normally...Or can they?
"I-I'm fine. Just didn't expect it, that's all."
Strangely, he didn't seem upset about it. However, you felt annoyed by those two bullies. Their names were Henry and Jonathan, and they liked picking on little people. But it seems dumb to pick on a immortal. You were about to suggest Solus uses some magic on them when the bell rang.
"we're late!" you shouted, grabbing Solus's arm and half dragging half leading him into the gym.

I am thinking of turning "you" into "I" perspective. Please tell me if you want it this way. Also, I'll be making the chapters shorter so you guys don't have to wait as long. Enjoy~
