Chapter 26- Pretty little lies
I felt light headed as we walked away. Grateful for his support, I rested against him and yawned. I felt oddly tired."Hey.. Solus?"
"Yeah Ash?"
"What did you say to him?"
He was quiet for a moment, then smiled and said.
"Nothing."
Solus laid Ash down on a bed in the nurses office. She had fallen asleep on his back. Looking down at her, she seemed so peaceful. He smiled and kissed her forehead.
"If he hurts you again, I'll kill him." Solus whispered, putting a blanket on Ash.
He turned and walked away as the nurse came in. She rushed to Ash and started wrapping up her injured shoulder.
I yawned and opened my eyes, laying on a hospital bed. I couldn't see Solus anywhere, and my shoulder ached slightly, as if it was bruised.
"What happened..?" I whispered, and sat up. My shoulder was lightly bandaged, which didn't seem right considering how deep the stab had been. Curious, I unwrapped it gently. Underneath was baby pink skin, and a long scar from the stab wound. I knew it would fade soon. Someone must have used healing magic on me.
I slipped out of bed and yawned, stretching. I was careful with my newly healed shoulder as I walked outside. Solus was sitting in a chair outside, his eyes closed and his wings wrapped around himself. I smiled and went up to him, gently nudging him.
"Solus."
He yawned and opened his eyes. He rubbed them.
"Morning Ash, how is your shoulder?"
"Don't tell me you stayed here all night."
"It's only been a few hours, but yeah. I waited."
"Why?"
"Well.. I was worried. That's all."
I blushed. Solus seemed awkward about it.
"Really? I would be more worried about yourself. Scar really beat you up."
Solus smiled and raised an eyebrow.
"Not really. I heal quickly."
I shrugged. I had a feeling he wouldn't be here if I hadn't shoved Scar with all my might. I didn't feel like bragging about it however, I would seem selfish.
"Whatever. What happened to Scratch and Scar anyway?"
"Scratch helped Scar and they both went home."
"Do you think they'll attack you again?"
Solus looked away.
"I think their more likely to hurt you instead."

Chapter 9 is done
After all, I am a whiz with quizzes
Susie went on a walk across See More the park. Suddenly--
The word 'suddenly' adds suspense, and makes you want to know what happens next. You read on, often quicker, to match the pace of the story.
When your ending a chapter, put something that finishes your thought, yet has potential to open up the next chapter. I'm not sure how to make an example of this, so just look at the last sentence or words at the end of my chapters. It SHOULD make you think, make you wonder, what is going to happen next. Or even make some theories in your head for later in the book.
Out of curiosity, what do you think is going to happen next in my book?
@moonston
I hope I'm not confusing. that's one tip.
@moonston
For example, Ash (which can be a boy or a girl), has problems with their magic, and feels like Solus is kind and mysterious. She thinks he is powerful, but holding See More back.
In Solus's opinion (which I don't want to spoil anything so I'll be vague), doesn't feel right in the class. He is different, and everyone knows he's differernt, so he hides his secrets and thoughts well. In chapter 7, he starts taking more notice in Ash, cause she helped him.
