Probably the best school in Europe and maybe the whole world. Students get to the school by riding in the hogwarts express. First year students ride in the boats to await their sorting. Older students ride in the carriages pulled by Thestrals. First years are sorted into the school houses ( Gryffindor, hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin ) by the school sorting hat. The feast later begins all of the food is prepared by house elves. Students begin with their lessons the next day. Hogwarts lessons provided are: Charms, herbolagy, transfigeration, potions, history of magic, care of magical creatures, defense against the dark arts, divination, arithmancy, ancient runes, Muggle studies, and astronomy. Hogwarts has quidditch teams that play through the year along with many other clubs. ( Note: first year students are not allowed a broom or to participate in quidditch through the year.)
