things u might not know are actually ableist:
- the r slur. don't say it. xx
- joking abt being a "crackhead." unless ur literally addicted to crack cocaine, ur not a crackhead. ur just annoying and trivializing addiction.
- also calling ppl who do stupid things "crackheads"
- saying things are "lame" (i must admit i still do this smtimes it's a hard habit to break)
- also "stupid" is :/
- also please don't say the word cripple or call someone/yourself crippled if you aren't See More disabled
- calling ignorant people "blind"
- the hur dur voice. like srsly c'mon
- making fun of autistic traits like hyperfixations n stimming
- using autistic as an insult
- oh wait also another thing: if u don't need to DO NOT use the disabled toilets <3 thank u
- also don't infantalize disabled ppl. do not go to help me unless i ask for help or you ask to help and i accept your offer
EDIT: and those "fancy fonts" ?? are actually mathematical scripts. when a screenreader reads them outloud it sounds like "bold italicized mathematical script S bold italicized mathematical script H bold italicized mathematical script..."

@PaRappa you don't need a diagnosis to be disabled! if you have some sort of condition that is disabling in any way, u can call urself disabled, whether it be on paper or not!

i have widespread chronic pain and fatigue possibly related to hypermobility. i'm techncially diagnosed w hEDS even tho i,, don't pass the diagnostic critera so tbh we don't know what's wrong with me. i also have some sorta mood disorder but i don't consider it to be one of my disabilities bc it's managed w meds and not rly disabling for me
