Have you ever traveled with your pet (dog or cat) on a plane? Do you have any advice on things that I should know about that?

Make sure they're up to date with their shots. Depending on how long the flight is make sure they eat before hand and make sure sure they do their business. For water it's best to give them just just cubes cause it'll melt. Tire them out so they'll be asleep on the plane, which is the best case scenario, but if they wake up give them toys so they won't get bored.

Don't let them jump out of the car... My sister's dog did but thankfully we were in a neighborhood at night, so cars weren't there to run her over.
